The Dog And I is a luxury dog chaperoning service tailored for special events, productions, and life’s most memorable moments. Whether it’s weddings, red-carpet events, bespoke experiences, photo shoots — or you are on set or on stage in front of or behind a camera — The Dog And I is here to ensure your four-legged family member is cared for with love, patience, and professionalism.

I help ensure the pet is safe, comfortable, where they need to be, and not overstimulated. My services are designed to give you peace of mind during those big (and busy) moments so you don’t have to worry about their safety, well-being, or what they could be getting into. I will care for them throughout the day in all the right ways—whether it’s walking down the aisle, posing in front of the camera, or hanging out behind the scenes.

I handle it all with love, patience, and professionalism—because I know your dog is family!

  • I accompany your dog to weddings, parties, and other special events—helping with everything from transportation to handling, potty breaks, photos, and comfort care throughout the day.

  • Big day? Long day? I am here for it. Whether it’s a celebration, photo session, or essential work event, I’ll ensure your dog has everything they need: walks, water, attention, downtime, and plenty of love.

  • For shoots, productions, or filming, I act as your dog’s handler, keeping them calm, safe, supported, and happy.  Whether it be camera-ready or out of the way when needed.

Our Origin Story

Hi, I’m Amanda — certified dog handler (CDTK), lifelong pup parent, and proud bulldog mom to Bear, my wrinkly, lovable 7-year-old sidekick.

After years of running my own business in the branded entertainment world, I felt a strong pull to follow my true passion: spending time with dogs and supporting the people who love them. That’s how The Dog And I was born — a boutique dog chaperoning service designed to give pups the care, comfort, and attention they deserve during life’s big, small, (and sometimes chaotic) moments.

Because when the moment matters, your best friend deserves their own VIP treatment and a trusted person by their side.
