The Dog And I specializes in professional and luxury dog chaperoning services tailored for special events, productions, and life’s most memorable occasions.

Whether it’s at weddings, red carpet events, bespoke experiences, or photo shoots — or you are on set, on stage, in front of or behind a camera — The Dog And I ensures your four-legged family member will be supported, loved, and exactly where they need to be. You no longer have to worry about their safety, their well-being, or what they could be getting into while you’re busy attending to the happenings of your event.

My services will give you peace of mind during those big and busy moments. I will care for them throughout the day in all the right ways—whether it’s walking down the aisle, posing in front of the camera, or hanging out behind the scenes.

I handle it all with love, patience, and professionalism — because I know your dog is family.

Event-Day Dog Chaperone

$200 per hour/1 dog (3 hour minimum)

$300 per hour/2 dogs (3 hour minimum)

Includes:

  • Consultations-In-person — Meet & Greet so I can get to know you & your dog

  • Pre-wedding walk 

  • Transport to the Venue(s) (may include an extra charge)

  • A tidy up & assistance in their dressing and accessories

  • Exploring the venue on arrival so they can get settled into their new environment 

  • Keeping them clean & dry 

  • Greeting the arriving guests (if possible/wanted)

  • Working with your photographers to assist in the choreographing of shots and getting your dog posed for the camera

  • Providing overall care and concern, plenty of water, treats, feedings when necessary, walks, cuddles & breaks throughout the day 

  • Providing updates throughout the day

  • Transport to your chosen final location — Returning the dog home or to a sitter/boarding facility after the event (may include an extra charge)

  • Destination wedding locations available on request (includes an extra charge)

Day-of-Dog Support

$200 per hour/1 dog (3 hour minimum)

$300 per hour/2 dogs (3 hour minimum)

Big day? Long day? I am here for it. Whether it’s a celebration, photo session, or essential work event, I’ll ensure your dog has everything they need: walks, water, attention, downtime, and plenty of love.

On-Set Support

$200 per hour/1 dog (3 hour minimum)

$300 per hour/2 dogs (3 hour minimum)

For shoots, productions, or filming, I act as your dog’s handler, keeping them calm, safe, supported, and happy.  I will make sure they’ll be camera-ready in the shoot and out of the way when not.

Please contact me directly if you have the need for a customized package. Your package proposal will be tailored exactly to your needs and priced based on the time required and your specific needs.

PAYMENTS

20% deposit due at signing, 80% due two weeks before your event.

TRANSPORTATION FEES

First 60 miles of travel are included on me. Every mile thereafter incurs a $1.00 travel fee.

CANCELLATION POLICY

For Weddings and Events:

  • Cancellations made outside of 60 days from your event, 100% refund (less deposit).

  • Cancellations made between 30 and 60 days from your event, 50% refund (less deposit).

  • Cancellations made within 30 days of your event are not able to be refunded.

For other services:

  • A 24-hour cancellation notice is required.

  • No refund is provided if the cancellation occurs within 24 hours.

With all bookings, the 20% deposit is non-refundable.
